Lisula can also be explored on foot. From coastal paths to old village tracks, walking offers a different way to discover the area, at your own pace. Some routes follow in the footsteps of old mule tracks, whilst others wind through the maquis, leading to chapels, bridges, fountains or viewpoints overlooking the hills and the sea.
The routes can be tailored to your preferences and fitness levels: short walks around the villages, loops lasting a few hours, or more challenging routes up to the peaks, such as Monte Astu. On every outing, walking becomes a way of taking time out, observing the landscapes and gaining a better understanding of the connections between places, villages and the history of the region.
