Getting around

In Corsica, having a car remains the easiest way to explore the island at your own pace, particularly when visiting villages and the interior.

But a stay in Lisula can also be enjoyed in other ways. Around L’Isula – L’Ile-Rousse and along the coast, trains and bus routes mean you can leave your car in the car park to head to the beach, go for a walk or spend a day in Calvi. Some villages are also served, albeit with less frequent services. For a completely car-free holiday, it is therefore best to choose your accommodation and plan a few trips in advance. Taxis and car hire are then available to cover the odd journey or give you greater independence.
