In Lisula, culture is not confined to monuments or events. It is woven into the fabric of everyday life: in a language that is still spoken, a hymn echoing through a church, a procession passing through a village, or a story told during a chance encounter.
It is also rooted in the land, where local produce is grown. Olive oil, cheese, wine and honey first come to life in a particular place, through a craft, and in a specific season.
In the workshops, it is the materials that take centre stage. Clay, steel, wood, leather and glass pass through the hands of the craftspeople, creating unique pieces where traditional craftsmanship meets a contemporary spirit.
