Highlights

Certain events hold a special place in the cultural calendar of Lisula and the Balagne. Whether rooted in traditional culture or driven by contemporary creativity, they bring L’Isula – L’Ile-Rousse, the inland villages and even the Pieve di u Ghjunsani to life.

These events draw people from far beyond the island and set the pace for each season. Music, cinema, theatre, rural fairs and sporting competitions: all these highlights reveal Lisula and the Balagne through what is experienced, created and shared there.
