Hôtel Palazzu San Andrea

In Muro, the Palazzu San Andrea breathes new life into a historic 19th-century residence marked by Tuscan and Lucca influences. Once the home of a local dignitary and now a 4-star hotel, the property embodies the understated elegance of the grand mansions of Balana, where every stone and every room tells a part of the village’s history. Conceived as a refined family home nestled in unspoiled natural surroundings, the San Andrea blends heritage authenticity with a contemporary lifestyle. Behind its thick walls steeped in history, the spaces reveal a cozy atmosphere crafted from fine materials, natural light, and carefully selected details. Luxury is expressed here with understated elegance, in the tranquility of the setting, the natural coolness of the palazzu, and the attention paid to every moment of your stay. The spacious suites, opening onto the Lisula mountains and the surrounding maquis, extend this immersion into the soul of Corsica. With its intimate terraces, vaulted library, heated stone pool, and spaces designed for well-being, the hotel invites you to slow down and fully enjoy the serenity of Muro. Located near the beaches of Algajola, L’Ile-Rousse, Calvi, and the region’s iconic villages, the San Andrea is also an ideal starting point for exploring authentic Balagne—where sea, mountains, heritage, and the island way of life come together.
