Getting Around by Bus in Île-Rousse

By bus

To get to L’Isula – L’Ile-Rousse – or reach the inland villages, the bus makes it possible to plan a day out or a holiday without a car. You may need to plan a little in advance for the timetables, but the A Balanina to Lisula routes and the services to Bastia or Saint-Florent complement the train service, allowing you to explore the region more extensively.

Buses at A Balanina At L'Isula and towards the inland villages

Whether you’re travelling around L’Isula town centre or heading to a village in the hinterland, the A Balanina buses, run by the Lisula Balagna Community of Communes, make it easy to get around without a car, whether you’re a visitor or a local. They are a handy way to reach a walking trail in the hinterland or to get to L’Osari – Losari beach.

A Balanina offers regular minibus services around L’Isula town and its outskirts, to and from the villages of Munticellu, Santa-Reparata-di-Balagna, Curbaraand Pigna.

Weekly services, available by booking only, provide access to villages such as Belgudè, Costa or Pietralba, all the way to Ghjunsani.
