Getting there

A natural bay, accessible in a different way

At Bodri, the journey there is part of the experience. Whether you arrive by car from the car park or on the little train that runs along the coast, it takes a few minutes’ walk before the bay comes into view. Hidden behind the branches of the trees, the white sand is just visible, offering a striking contrast to the blue of the water, which blends with that of the sky. The beach stretches out widely, leaving plenty of space to settle in without feeling cramped. The scrubland surrounds the site; the scents of rockrose and everlasting flower accompany you along the path, and the sound of the train mingles with the lapping of the waves.

A family-friendly, unpretentious and open beach

In calm weather, swimming is easy and enjoyable in clear water with turquoise hues, although it is not quite as suitable for children as the shallow waters of Napoleon Beach at L’Isula.

When the wind picks up, particularly the mistral, the sea becomes rougher and the waves can make swimming a bit of a challenge. In these conditions, the beach takes on a different character and requires greater vigilance, especially with children.

A beachside restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy the day between dips in the sea. At Bodri, everything comes together for a simple life: space, light, and that feeling of being close to everything yet already somewhere else entirely.
