On the road to Muro, in the Balagne region, U Viaghju is an artisan distillery inspired by the Corsican maquis. Visits, tastings, workshops, accommodation and Mediterranean lunches invite you to discover a unique know-how between sea and mountains.

U Viaghju, which means "the journey" in Corsican, was born of a family adventure between a father and son with a passion for discovery and encounters. Located in the heart of the Balagne region, this eco-domain produces artisanal spirits inspired by Corsican nature. Gin, vodka, liqueurs and whisky are created from wild maquis plants and local mountain water, using traditional wood-fired distillation methods. The estate is particularly renowned for its Mediterranean whisky, smoked with olive wood and produced in limited quantities. Set between sea, mountains and scrubland, U Viaghju offers a true immersion in the Corsican art of living. Visitors can discover the distillery on guided tours, take part in spirit creation workshops or enjoy a Mediterranean lunch featuring local produce. To extend the experience, guest rooms and a lodge with private pool offer a privileged setting in the heart of nature, with exceptional views over the Reginu valley and Cap Corse.
