Maestracci Gourmet Event

Just a fifteen-minute drive from L’Isula – L’Ile-Rousse – the Maestracci Estate’s vineyards stretch out amongst olive groves and scrubland. For over a century, the land here has been tended with the same passion. Accompanied by Camille-Anaïs Raoust, a tour of the estate offers an immersive experience of this family history, dedicated to wine and respect for all living things.

Getting there

Amidst the vines, the memory of the place

Situated in the Reginu Valley, overlooked by the villages of Filicetu (Feliceto) and Muru (Muro), the estate has been passed down through the generations since 1893, handed down by the women of the family. As she walks through the vineyards, Camille-Anaïs explains the estate’s commitment to organic and biodynamic farming, working in harmony with nature’s cycles. The tour continues in the serene atmosphere of the wine cellar, where the rows of oak barrels and the aroma of fermented wood bear witness to the meticulous work carried out there.

The terroir in a glass

The tour concludes with a guided tasting of the estate’s wines. Available in red, white and rosé, the wines clearly express the richness of the Reginu’s soils and the uniqueness of their microclimate. More than just a tasting,each glass offers a vivid insight into the landscape and the expertise behind the wines, revealing the character of the terroir and the passion of those who cultivate it.
