CNCM Voce presents Alte Voce, a leading name in Corsican choral music. With their powerful, authentic voices, their polyphonic arrangements, original compositions, and traditional melodies will transport you to the heart of Corsican emotions and spirit.

The Artists: Rosanna Cesari – Vocals Jean Mattei – Vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonica Michel Andreani – Bass Pierre Barthelemy – Guitars Bruno Vidal – Drums - Introduction - Founded in 2000 by Jean Mattei and Rosanna Cesari, Alte Voce is one of the leading groups on the contemporary Corsican music scene. As the successor to Riacquistu, a movement for Corsican cultural revival, the group passionately champions the authenticity of Corsican voices, music, and language. With a career spanning more than twenty years, ten albums, and numerous accolades—including a double gold record—the group performs regularly in Corsica, France, and internationally. On stage, Alte Voce presents a rich show blending polyphonic singing, original compositions, instrumental music, and great classics from the island’s repertoire. Presented through stories, tales, and poetry, the songs invite the audience to discover the history, traditions, landscapes, and emotions of Corsica.
