Description
I Muvrini, "little sheep" in Corsica, was born from the project of two brothers from the Bastia region, Jean-François and Alain Bernardini. Their father, Jules is a renowned Corsican poet and musician.
It is thus with their father that the brothers discover the traditional music of Corsica and learn the art of polyphony.
From the beginning of the 1970s, the two brothers accompanied their father in singing competitions.
In 1979, the group released its first record, "Ti Ringrazianu", in which a tribute was paid to Jules Bernardini.
The group was soon joined by a group of musicians, choristers and instrumentalists from various backgrounds, who contributed to the artistic richness of their production.
