Description
Terra di’ Conti is back for its latest edition, running from Nov. 28 to Dec. 4! Tales, legends, music, and gatherings await you, including the grand evening celebration on the village square in Costa—a must-see highlight of the festival for young and old alike.
A Veghja - La Veillée invites you to rediscover the spirit of Corsican evening gatherings around the fucone, in the heart of the village of Costa.
Led by Don Matthieu Santini, the evening will bring to life tales, legends, and stories passed down from generation to generation. Everyone will have the chance to speak—in Corsican or French—to share a story, a memory, or a legend.
The Pratica Lingua association will also help keep the Corsican language alive through conversation.
Music will play a central role in this gathering. Musicians, amateurs, and anyone curious are invited to bring their instruments to improvise, accompany the stories, or join in the singing.
The evening will continue with a convivial gathering featuring Corsican soup, wood-fired grilled figatellu, and other local delicacies. An evening open to all, celebrating living heritage, music, stories, and camaraderie.
