The Artist: Pierre Barthélémy – Vocals, harmonica, guitar - Overview - An original performance that blends a reading with a concert, inspired by Bob Dylan’s *Philosophy of the Modern Song*. With the book in hand, Pierre Barthélémy—Wakan—reads excerpts from this 2022 publication, bringing to life the American musician’s unique perspective and reflections on the songs that have shaped his career. Throughout the performance, the texts find a musical extension on stage. The songs referenced come to life through acoustic or electric renditions, creating a sensitive dialogue between words and music. Blending reading, concert, and sonic exploration, this show invites audiences to rediscover the song as a living, intimate, and deeply universal experience.
