Residency Showcase: Siobulé
A musical and visual creation inspired by the legends of the Sibillini Mountains in Italy. Drawing on the medieval tale *The Paradise of Queen Sibyl*, the artists explore a realm where imagination, memory, and living traditions intersect. Early music, folk repertoires from central Italy, Mediterranean influences, and original compositions come together in a work that transforms the act of transmission into a space for creation.
On stage, the music is accompanied by live drawings by Alessandro de Carolis. Inspired by medieval miniatures and projected in real time, his images accompany the narrative and extend the soundscapes. Lutes, flutes, stringed instruments, and Mediterranean percussion create a sensitive universe where research, improvisation, and invention blend, giving rise to the first forms of this new performance.
