“Sacred Stones, Symbols, and Petrification,” a lecture by Ghjasippina Giannesini followed by the show “The Adventures of Barbad”
- 17:30 This lecture explores the myths, symbols, and beliefs of Corsica through its sacred stones and legends of petrification. Straddling the line between the visible and the invisible, the menhirs and ancestral tales reveal the island’s deep-rooted memory.
A journey into the heart of Corsican heritage led by ethnologist and anthropologist Ghjasippina Giannesini.
- 20:00 : This family-friendly show recounts the journey of Bârbad, a famous musician from ancient Persia, to the court of King Khosrow Parviz. When he must announce the death of the royal mare, his music speaks for him, demonstrating the expressive power of an art form unbound by words.
